Albin Jubitz, Jr. President, Jubitz Family Foundation Mr. Jubitz is a Rotarian, retired businessman, community volunteer, founder and President of the Jubitz Family Foundation. He received a Bachelor's degree from Yale University and an MBA from University of Oregon. He is past president and remains active in the Rotary Club of Portland and currently serves on the Portland Schools Foundation Board, Energy Trust of Oregon, and is Chair of Fundraising for United Way of Columbia John H. Heald, PCPrincipal, John H. Heald, PC John earned his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law (1975). He received his B.A., with distinction, from the University of California at Berkeley (1971). He is a member of the Oregon State Bar and the Washington State Bar. His law practice focuses on business transactions; estate and business succession planning; asset and stock sales; and real estate acquisition and development. Tom FullerProject Manager, Shiels Obletz Johnsen Mr. Fuller spent 19 years in the banking industry and has worked for the State of Oregon's Departments of Corrections and Economic Development. A Yale graduate, he currently works with the Portland-based project management and development consulting firm of Shiels Obletz Johnsen. He has served on a number of nonprofit boards and is heavily involved as a volunteer within the Portland community. Sharif AbdullahFounder, Commonway Institute Mr. Abdullah is a leading proponent and catalyst for inclusive social, cultural and spiritual transformation. Sharif's life and work has been featured in a number of books and publications. He has worked with thousands of individuals and facilitated scores of transformation, empowerment and leadership sessions for various public and private organizations, including city and county governments, federal agencies, international bodies like The United Nations, and large corporations. Steve CarlsonAMS Atmospheric Education Resource Agent, CREST Educational Services Mr. Carlson is a consultant and retired educator having spent 34 years as a teacher, assistant superintendent and principal. He teaches geology in the summers at Portland State University, directs the Mid Columbia Principals' Center for Lewis and Clark College, and is a resource agent for the American Meteorological Society.Mr. Carlson graduated from Clark College and Portland State University in education and then earth science. He is a board member for ARC of Oregon and Eastern Oregon Support Services and has been a speaker at science conferences at a local, regional, national and international level and has authored several science publications and articles. Samuel D. Henry, EdDProfessor, Portland State University Dr. Henry, Associate Professor at Portland State University, serves as coordinator of GSE's Educational Leadership Doctoral program and chairs the Oregon Commission on Children and Families. He received a BS degree from DC Teachers College, taught in secondary schools for four years in D.C. and New York. Dr. Henry earned a master's in curriculum development and a Doctorate in Urban Education from Columbia University Teachers College. Maynard OrmeRetired President, Oregon Public Broadcasting Dr. Orme has been with Emeritus of Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) since 1986 and recently retired as President. Previously, he was general manager of KTEH, Channel 54 in San Jose California for 13 years, and Director of Education Services at KCET, Los Angeles for five years. He has produced many arts and education rograms for public Television. He received his Bachelor's degree in Music from UC Berkeley, a Masters in Theater Arts from UCLA, and a Ph.D. in Education from UCLA. He currently serves on the board of Native American Public Telecommunications, and is an advisory board member of the National Center for Outreach, as well as OASIS. |
